Hi, I'm Evan.

I’m a 30-something wife, girl mom, and Louisiana photographer.

Once upon a time, I was an elementary school teacher who very quickly realized I wasn't cut out for it. After a few years in a first grade classroom, I left the profession to be a stay-at-home mom to my new baby girl. When she was a few months old, I wanted to learn how to use my old entry-level DSLR to take photos of her between paying for professional photo sessions. A local photographer who was looking to move on from the business took me under her wing and taught me the basics. Before I knew it, and to my complete surprise, my new hobby took on a life of its own. I decided to commit completely and took all the steps to legally register my business. Within hours of my photography Facebook page going live, I had multiple sessions on the books, and I have never looked back.

Growing up, my pastor always said that you don't always find your calling in a loud voice of God. Sometimes, you just have to walk through open doors and stop trying to force your way through closed ones. You follow where peace leads, and you will eventually end up EXACTLY where you're supposed to be. That is my story, and it's one that I thank God for every day.

While I love many types of photography, I primarily focus on seniors (both high school and college) and families. I am also thrilled to say that I have begun training with a fantastic local wedding photographer to one day add weddings to my portfolio.

After ten years in business, I have been blessed to meet so many incredible clients. And what really takes the cake is when those clients become friends, and those friends become family.

Y'all come join the family.

All my love,

Evan
